Birthday Parties made easy

When you book a party with Tangles, you'll get a magic show appropriate to the age of the group with lots of laughter and audience participation. And,  of course,  the birthday child will be the star of the show!  All parties include a Mylar Balloon and Certificate for the occasion for the  birthday child.   A handout for each child to take home at the end of the show is also included.  The magic show usually lasts about 45 minutes .

Tangles will need about a 6 feet by 4 feet open area for the "stage" area  with a large enough area for your audience to be located directly in front for the best view of the show.   She will arrive about 15 to 30 minutes before show time to set up.  If music is used, a working electrical outlet handy to the "stage Area" is a good idea.  Adults are welcome to watch the show and you may take all the still pictures that you wish!  However, I recommend that the talking be kept to the minimum so you don't missed out on your child's reactions to the show!  

If you like, there are a few add-ons to round out your show.  Usually , if chosen, I'll do the activity first while waiting for all the guests to arrive.   We will stop the activity when you think everyone is there and then finish up after the show so everyone will have the opportunity to do the activity.  There is an additional charge for activities. 

PARTY OPTIONS

I offer several packages for birthday parties.  Cost is based on the party package for 15-20 guests. 

1.  The most popular is a magic show (45 - 60 minutes) with 1 add on activity.  These parties are geared to the average age of the guests and usually will last about 2 hours.  

2.  For the really young kids or those that are not interested in magic, I do offer a party of just face painting and/or balloons for about an hour to 1 - 2 hours depending on the number of  guests at the party and number of entertainers.  I do not recommend balloons for anyone under the age of 3 due to the choking hazard.

3.  The magic show with both activities.  This party would require the use of two entertainers and take 2+ hours

Balloons will be blown up and twisted into various figures.  This will take about 3 -5 minutes per child depending on the figure chosen.  There will be a picture menu of the choices for the day to choose from.   This activity is not recommended for children under the age of 3 due to a choking hazard.

There will be a picture menu of the available choices for the day to chose from.  The Face Painter will paint on face, hand/arm or leg per request.   Designs will take between 2  -4 minutes depending on what is chosen.  The paints used are made by Mehron - a leading Hollywood make up company.  We are using the water based paints that literally wash off with water including out of clothing!  Hollywood make up artists use this same paint but the oil based versions for most of the actors that are painted up for the movies!  For small children under the age of 3,  it is recommended that their painting be done on the knee - harder to get in the mouth and they will be interested what is being done!
