Storytelling for all ages

 These are the magic words that can open the door to the imagination!   No matter how old we are, we all perk up our ears when we hear the beginning of a story, whether told by  a  professional storyteller like Tangles, the Sassy Silver Storytellers, or by a  grandmother who is relating a story from her childhood.  There is always something very special and fulfilling about  sharing a story told in person.  Storytelling is an ancient art form and although it has become highly developed through sophisticated media techniques of television and film, the person to person contact is most satisfying to our souls. 

Storytelling is for everyone to enjoy.  Sometimes a story has a bit of magic for the imagination and sometimes the magic is visible!   It could be tall tales, ghost stories, period stories, fractured fairy tales and even personal tales.

Storytelling can be used in venues like:

Wedding receptions

Family reunions

Day care centers

Senior Citizens centers 

Schools

and many other venues

Balloon figures and Face painting are also available as a separate program. 

Tangles (or the Sassy Silver Storytellers) would love to entertain your residents with  45 - 60  minutes of stories.  All she needs is a bit of room to move about as she usually stands while telling and a small table as some stories actually have a bit of magic to show.  Types of stories can be tall tales, personal and/or true stories, trickster tales, twisted fairy tales, holiday tales, or misc. stories.  If you are having a multi-generational event, these stories can be told with kids and/or grand kids as a part of the audience.  All stories are family friendly!
