SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

Begin by gathering eight pennies (or other small items to cover up the squares on the card Tangles gave you.

When you've got your coins - lay the card open and flat on the table and begin:

FIrst: place your finger on one of the following squares: the cards, face painting, wizard, hat, or the wand. Whichever one you prefer. Keep it there for now....

The Rules: every move will be to the left or right, never diagonal, and skip over any space covered by a penny.

Now - move four times. This will be your starting point. It's a square even you didn't know you'd be on.

From your starting point: Move three spaces.

After moving three spaces, I know you're not on the Face Painting square, so  eliminate that square by covering it up with one of  the pennies.

Move one space

No reading stories  today - cover up the  book.

Move four spaces

Don't stop to smell the flowers. Cover it with the penny instead..

Move three spaces

No waving that wand anymore . Cover the wand. 

Is all of this random? You're choosing where to move each time...

Move two spaces

By now you know this isn’t a card trick - you're not on the cards, cover them with a penny..

Move one space

No ice cream today - cover it up.

Move three spaces

Cover up the wizard so she can't see what you're doing.

Move one last space

No more balloon animals today -  cover it with your last penny.

Keep your finger on the last uncovered space and then scroll down...
